The Phantom Spires is a unique climbing area located in California’s Eldorado National Forest, near South Lake Tahoe. Known for its striking granite spires that rise dramatically from the landscape, this area offers climbers a variety of routes on high-quality, highly featured rock.
The climbing at Phantom Spires hosts a mix of sport and trad routes that often feature cracks, edges, and crazy knobs! Both single and multi-pitch routes abound with many classic lines to the various spire summits.
