Massive Multi-pitch Adventure Climbing

Calaveras Dome is a 2,000 foot rock face tucked in between Highway 88 and Arnold, CA. It is home to some of the highest quality granite in California with excellent slab, crack, and face climbing. The Dome overlooks the Salt Springs Reservoir and a small lush valley, which is virtually devoid of humans. What makes Calaveras Dome so unique is the 15-minute approach, adventurous routes, and empty walls. The granite walls rival Yosemite quality granite and the lack of crowds make this an adventure climbing paradise.

Nearby Hammer Dome offers shorter and easier routes for budding crack, trad, and multi-pitch climbers.

Classic routes include Wings and Stings (5.7, 3 pitches), Gemeni Cracks (5.8, 3 pitches), Sands of Time (5.9, 6-12 pitches), and Wall of the Worlds (5.10c, 4-9 pitches).
