Donner Summit is a world class climbing destination that offers a diverse collection of both trad and sport climbs, multi-pitch and single-pitch routes on exceptionally high-quality granite. The geography consists of rugged alpine granite cliffs that range in both size and texture making each wall a uniquely different climbing experience.
Donner Summit sits at 7000 feet in elevation and is located just west of the town of Truckee, CA, and overlooks the majestic Donner Lake. Roadside cliffs with little to no approach paired with a high concentration of climbs make Donner Summit one of our favorite places to recreate both on and off the clock!
